"The Grimshaw-Kraemer House was originally built on Broadway near Anaheim Blvd (then known as Los Angeles Street) by Emma Mary Kraemer, daughter of Daniel Kraemer, a pioneer of Placentia with business ties to Anaheim and Emma s husband, Thomas Grimshaw. Thomas was the proprietor of the Anaheim Planing Mill. The Grimshaw Family occupied the home for generations until 1934.
